All said and done 87 players made it to this neat course just outside Waterloo, Illinois in a little community called Wartburg, Illinois. This course was built by Bill Ebeler a local businessman whose specialty is manufacturing stainless steel doors for tugboats. You'll notice as you drive into the course the gates are made of stainless steel and so are the ornamental hole number identification markers. A few of the greens showed the ravages of this hot summer but the grounds crew had placed the holes where that was not a factor in putting. Otherwise the tee boxes and fairways were in great shape.
