From Gene Niederschmidt

We had a good Breakfast turn out this past November. The biggest surprise was seeing Warren Huff and Paulette Martin. Warren works for a contractor and plans to retire, maybe this year. Paulette is working on her thirty-seventh year and was recently promoted to senior executive status. We decided to skip having a December Breakfast due to Christmas falling on a Sunday. I had not seen Bob Day for quite some time and he said it was due to his love for golf. Bob says he is a real good golfer and must keep on top of his game. George Huelsman had a hip replacement and this kept him from our Breakfast. Except for a slight limp George is doing well. Dick Dierkes did not attend our November Breakfast. A few days later I learned Dick went to his oncologist for a checkup. I talked to Dick a few days ago and all is well. Clyde and Verna Creel said they were going to take a trip to Florida for Christmas holidays. Ron Updegrave was looking forward to seeing his out- of-town family this Christmas. Hope everyone had a happy holiday. I will see you January 23 at Gingham's. I have no news to pass on from January to now. I guess all us retirees are sitting back and enjoying this mean winter. Let's have a good turnout at our February 27 breakfast. If you can't make it, how about a note and tell us how things are going. Our next Breakfast will be Mar 26 2012 at 9:30 AM at Gingham’s, Lindbergh & Lemay Ferry Road South St. Louis County. I have reserved Gingham's meeting room for the rest of 2012 on these dates: April 23, skip May, June 25, July 23, Aug 27, Sept 24, Oct 22, November 26 and skip December. Mark your calendars. Gene N
